Dogon ladders like this one, are used to climb on top of Dogon village homes, to access storage, as well as to access roof tops for sleeping. Simple elegant design with excellent patina. This Dogan Ladder is unusually large. size 8'9" (105") high most Dogon ladders are 60-70" high.
